she was an ill-advised crush at first, then i realized that i had her trust
so i cherished her friendship and thought that's what's up!
then yall wouldn't believe how depressed i was
and though i tried not to, sometimes i couldn't give a fu*k
and on top of that, i was graduating and people were congratulating
while everybody else was laughing, and i had a full ride to claflin
deep down we both knew what had to happen!
